It may very well be that you find a Stolleis-wine on the menu when you are on holiday on the Baltic coast or in the South of Germany.
In the history of our winery we like to remember the three most remote and unusual places where our wine has been tasted. Among them are the Kremlin in Moscow and the ice dome in Zermatt, where we had a wine tasting at 4000 meters altitude.
Our icewine made it to the Antarctic – to the researchers in the Georg von Neumayer station, named after the German Arctic explorer. Furthermore, Peter Stolleis hosted a wine tasting for German soldiers in Afghanistan in 2011.
